Artist Statement: Ja Nelle has persevered through emotional, verbal, and financial abuse and used her talents in the art community to heal and rebuild. As a Spoken word artist and recycled designer she uses these mediums to reach out to those who feel their voices have been cut short, in hopes to help them find the strength to be heard.
