Artist Statement:  This painting depicts the NEDA symbol, which was originally created by the National Eating Disorders Association. The symbol represents awareness, hope, and recovery for eating disorders. I actually made this painting while I was in treatment. Whenever I am having a hard day, I look at it and remember the importance of recovery and the hope that comes with it.
